1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect
When you use the Service we may collect:
- Information you provide: your email address; your birth date; optionally your birth place and birth time; the focus or subject of your question; and your consent choices (age confirmation, marketing opt-in, acceptance of terms).
- Content you generate with us: the astrology readings and related text created for you, which may reflect what you told us about your situation.
- Technical information: a one-way hashed form of your IP address (we do not store your raw IP), your approximate sun sign computed from your birth date, the marketing source (UTM) that brought you, and basic usage events.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive identifiers such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health records.
3. A note on sensitive topics
Because Mira deals with love, relationships, and self-reflection, the free text you submit may sometimes touch on your emotional or mental state. To keep the Service safe, an automated classifier reviews submissions to detect signs of distress and adjust the response (for example, to soften the tone or surface a crisis resource). This processing exists to protect users. We treat any such information with care and do not use it for advertising or profiling. Where this constitutes special-category data under applicable law, our basis for processing is your explicit consent and our legitimate interest in user safety.
4. Why we use your data (legal bases)
- To deliver the reading you requested — performance of the service you asked for.
- To send follow-up and marketing emails — your consent (which you can withdraw any time).
- To keep the Service safe and prevent abuse (rate-limiting, crisis detection) — our legitimate interests and user safety.
- To understand and improve the funnel — our legitimate interests, using minimized/aggregated data.
5. Who we share data with
We use a small set of trusted service providers (“processors”) strictly to operate the Service:
- Resend — to send emails.
- Anthropic and OpenAI — to generate readings via their AI models.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Our hosting provider — to run the application and database.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes above or where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country (for example, in the EU or the US). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses provided by these vendors.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. We aim to delete or anonymize lead data that never becomes a paying relationship within a reasonable period and to honor deletion requests promptly. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your rights).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and Russian law 152-FZ), you may have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and request portability. To exercise any of these, email support@pocketchronicle.ru. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Marketing and unsubscribe
If you opted in, we send marketing emails. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time. You can also email support@pocketchronicle.ru. Withdrawing consent does not affect emails strictly needed to deliver something you requested.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use minimal storage in your browser to run the Service (for example, to remember your progress through the funnel) and limited analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
11. Children
The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor’s data has reached us, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected here.
